Amplifier led a team of skilled partners to develop an interpretive plan and exhibit concept for an African American community centered on this 1940 public housing development. Extensive engagement with a vibrant leadership team and community members led to non-traditional recommendations for outreach, programs, and exhibits.
In 2024, Poindexter Village gained a partner site that had not been in the picture previously. Amplifier was hired to re-engage, test the previous plan, and make updates based on the new partnership.
